Notes from our Prez
NOTE MEETING DATE CHANGE - Sunday, March 15, 1pm
_______________________________________
At the March meeting, we will be discussing and working with various binders for glass “clay”. This process can also be used for pate de verre. A couple of members made their ARTMA sculptures using these binders, and they came out very successful. This should be an interesting meeting as this process is now being used for a huge amount of art works. You can bring any binders you work with and various frits, squirt bottles, or any other tools you think are handy to have. This is a learning/sharing meeting. If you would like to learn more about what can be done with this process, I would suggest taking a class from one of the bigger teaching facilities. I know that the EXPO in Las Vegas in April may have some classes to take. We will discuss various places at the meeting.
Speaking of the Expo in LV in April, for those of you wishing to learn beginning bead making on a torch, I know that Bronwen Heilman’s class still has a couple of openings. She is an excellent teacher and would be a good, stress free class to take. It is now a couple of days after ARTMA this year, and I sincerely want to thank each and everyone of you who participated in making this an incredible experience. I have lots of photos to share, and the families and children who showed up were so grateful for everything we do. I heard an incredible amount of compliments and gratefulness for honoring these very brave children and their families. Thank you for being a part of this and helping to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.
See you at the March meeting. Sorry about the change of date but I have to take down a show on the 8th.
PS.. come see my show at D’art Gallery. This coming weekend will be the last weekend.

Collaboration - Get Creative
Collaboration is a great way to expand your horizon on many levels. It allows you to work with others, network, and stretch your creative muscles.
In this picture, the owner of a local coffee shop teamed up with Gwendolyn Morgan to sell her the owner's gorgeous home-grown flowers in the shop. The two worked together on a design, followed by Gwendolyn making batches of vases for the coffee shop. It was a hot item with the vases full of flowers selling out immediately, sometimes even before they made it to the shop.
The custom-made vases full of home-grown flowers were a win-win. They brought more customers into the shop, and Gwendolyn made more connections within the community.
Most of us work in a silo; maybe it's time to step out a bit.

🔥 READY FOR THE TAKING: This beauty is available and quite the catch 🔥
Single. Hot. And ready for their next serious commitment.
They love long nights full of slow, sometimes rapid, deep heating. Patient, attentive, and always willing to go the distance. After heating things up and completely melting your treasures, they enjoy settling in for some cozy cool down time — because aftercare matters.
They’re also a sucker for a good spa session… the pink kiln wash tickles their belly, and the vacuum… oooh-la-la ❤️ Nothing like a little pampering to keep them performing their best.
Reliable. Experienced. Knows how to handle fragile things with care… and transform them into something stronger and more beautiful.
Take them home and enjoy all the love they have given me. I promise, they’re ready to give their heart (and heat) to someone new.
Serious inquiries only. Must appreciate commitment, warmth, and the occasional need for 240 volts 😉

HELP NEEDED
FIRST - Yes, it's truly easy and ANYONE can do it :) Even you!
As you know, I am in the process of moving to Mexico. I will continue to be a part of GAC as I am able, but I feel I will not be able to server you adequately as Webmaster.
I need someone to step up and take the reins. It's not like the old days, you do not need to know any coding to maintain the website. It's as simple as creating a Word or a Pages document -- so, yes, even you can do it :)
I will train you and I will be next to you every step of the way, even on call when needed.
