For those of you who missed our picnic in June, it was a really fun time. Playing Beer Pong, with whipped cream, was the best!. I want to thank D&L for supplying copious amounts of discount coupons to their “Glass Bash” in July. And don’f forget this incredible event. D&L’s Summer Glass Bash will be held on July 24-25, 2026. Big Discounts - Giveaways - Vendors - Bargain Bins - Live Demos - Food Truck - and more..

It’s the event of the summer.

At the next meeting, we will be experimenting in learning how to do some gel printing and regular printing using paints and stencils. Come play with us. It is easily transferred into a technique you can do on glass. All techniques of art are related.

A reminder on who is signed up for our field trip to the Art Castings Foundry in Loveland. If you need to cancel, please let me know NOW so that we can fill your space. As we get closer to the date, I will let you know the address (although you could look that up), times, and cash you must have on hand ($5). If you can carpool, that would be wise as it will take an hour or so to get there. It will also make the trip more fun. We are also planning on going to lunch somewhere in Loveland after the event. I will be going up both times, so if someone wants to ride with me, just let me know.

Sad note… Shirley Campbell’s husband passed away right before our picnic. Our hearts go out to Shirley and her family. Just remember, Shirley.. we ARE your glass family and are always here for you. We love you.
